Privacy Policy

Royal Pop Store Finder ("the site," "we," "us") is an independent, non-commercial fan project. It is operated by a private individual and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with The Swatch Group Ltd, Audemars Piguet Holding SA, or any of their subsidiaries.

This policy explains what information we collect when you use this site and how we handle it.

• Approximate location — only when you tap the "Use My Location" button. Your browser asks for permission first. The coordinates are used in your browser to sort stores by distance and are never transmitted to or stored on our servers.
• Email address — only when you submit it via the "Drop Alert" form. We use it to send you a one-time notification on launch day and nothing else. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• Standard server logs — IP address, browser type, request path and timestamp. Used for security and aggregate analytics; retained for up to 30 days.
• Anonymous analytics — page views and basic interactions, recorded without persistent identifiers and without cross-site tracking.

• We do not sell, share, or rent personal information to third parties.
• We do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
• We do not place cross-site tracking cookies.
• We do not collect payment information — nothing on this site is for sale.

To make the map and store finder work, the site loads tiles and assets from third-party providers. When your browser fetches those resources it shares its IP address with the provider, subject to that provider's own privacy policy:

• Map tiles and geocoding — Mapbox Privacy or OpenStreetMap Privacy
• Web fonts — Google Fonts Privacy
• Store imagery (optional) — Mapbox Static Images or Google Street View Static, depending on configuration

We use a minimal number of first-party cookies and local-storage values for functionality only — for example, remembering your light/dark theme preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

If you are in the EU/UK, you have rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise any of these rights, email us via the address in the Contact section below.

If you are in California, you have rights under the CCPA including the right to know what is collected and to request deletion. We do not sell personal information.

The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be flagged with an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
